For our last wedding of 2010, Maria and I got to spend the day with Penny and Dimitri, and about one thousand of their closest friends (ok, maybe not 1000, but close; they know A LOT of people- their band came all the way from Greece!). Anyway, they got married at a little Greek Orthodox Church in San Jose on a wet and rainy day, and we loved it! Seriously, good weather can be so overrated sometimes. Not only is rain considered lucky on your wedding day, but it makes for some wonderful and moody photos. Their reception was at the Marriott so we ran across the street to the little park right there, and I just love the more Wintery/Cloudy/Rainy/It's cold-outside-but-you're-staying-warm-cozied-up-with-your-love feel Penny and Dimitri gave us!
